Wellness in the Sarntal Valley: warmth and relaxation at Almhotel Bergerhof

After a hike through the mountains of the Sarntal Valley, an extended bike tour or a day of skiing in nearby Reinswald, it feels good to let the day end at a slower pace. The small, well-maintained wellness area at Almhotel Bergerhof offers a pleasant place to relax.

Three different heat experiences, an outdoor hot tub heated to approximately 35 °C, our new bright relaxation room, a tea and snack corner and the lawn in the garden provide space to unwind and recharge in a peaceful location at around 1,250 metres above sea level.

Good to know: Use of the entire wellness area is included for our hotel guests.

Three ways to enjoy soothing warmth

After an active day in the mountains, our sauna area is the ideal place to slow down and recharge. Simply choose the type of heat that feels right for you.

The Finnish sauna offers intense, dry heat. In the steam bath, pleasantly humid air surrounds you, while the infrared cabin provides a gentler alternative with its soft and even warmth.

Whether you have spent the day hiking, cycling or enjoying a few hours on the ski slopes of Reinswald, this is a place to breathe deeply, switch off and end the day at your own pace.

Our sauna area is textile-free and reserved for guests aged 18 and over. Bathrobes and sauna towels are available free of charge at reception.

Outdoor hot tub overlooking the Reinswald mountains

Lie back in warm water beneath the open sky, breathe in the clear mountain air and let your gaze wander across the Reinswald mountains: our heated outdoor hot tub is one of the Bergerhof’s most popular places to relax.

With a water temperature of approximately 35 °C, it is open during both the summer and winter seasons. The warm water is particularly enjoyable after an eventful day in the Sarntal Valley or a day of skiing in the Reinswald ski area, which is around three kilometres from the hotel.

During the warmer months, the adjacent garden lawn with comfortable loungers invites you to sunbathe, read or simply do nothing at all. Our peaceful hillside location, away from through traffic, provides the ideal setting.

A little refreshment between moments of relaxation

Between sauna sessions or after relaxing in the outdoor hot tub, you can take a break in our tea and snack corner.

Herbal teas, juices, fresh fruit and small snacks are available for you. Take your time over a cup of tea and enjoy a quiet moment with nothing to plan and nothing that needs to be done.

Relax in our new bright relaxation room

Our newly designed relaxation room is a place for the quieter moments of your holiday. Light natural wood, a modern stone-effect finish and soft indirect lighting create a warm and peaceful atmosphere.

Stretch out on the spacious loungers, close your eyes, read a book or simply let your thoughts wander. Wooden partitions divide the room and create pleasantly sheltered areas in which to relax.

A peaceful and natural place to switch off – uncomplicated, welcoming and perfectly suited to the mountain landscape surrounding the Bergerhof.
