The Reinswald ski area is located around three kilometres from the Almhotel Bergerhof and can be reached within just a few minutes by car. There, you will find varied slopes, a ski school, ski rental facilities and welcoming mountain huts where you can stop for refreshments.
The Reinswald ski area is popular not only with holidaymakers. International World Cup skiers also regularly use the slopes in the Sarntal Valley for their training. Some of the athletes stay with us at the Almhotel Bergerhof during their visit – and with a little luck, you may even meet one of them in person. Your host and head chef Klaus has also been closely connected with international skiing for many years. During overseas training camps and World Cup races, he accompanies the Italian men’s World Cup speed team as their chef. Afterwards, he brings his experiences from the world of professional skiing back home with him – along with many stories that he is always happy to share with his guests.
After your day on the slopes, you can conveniently store your equipment in the hotel’s ski storage room with heated ski-boot racks. Afterwards, unwind in the small wellness area or relax in the heated outdoor whirlpool beneath the open sky.
If you have booked half board, a different three-course evening menu with a salad buffet awaits you each day – because, as everyone knows, a day on the slopes works up an appetite.
